Some positives from the road trip

With all the moaning and groaning about the loss, I think something almost slipped through the cracks. Pedja had 37 points tonight and that's good, right?

I think sometimes people lose sight of things because they're so involved in pointing the finger at or away from one or more of our players. That's sad because it's all about the TEAM.

No, they didn't win tonight but there were good things about this road trip:

1. Webber had pretty good outings, including the second game in a back-to-back and the 4th game in 5 nights.
2. Evans continued to impress.
3. Bibby was awesome for the most part and even redeemed himself after a slow start in tonight's game. He is the ICEMAN as far as I can tell. He lives for that clutch shot where you have to have total confidence in your own abilities and no discernable nerves.
4. Pedja had a tough night beyond the arc against the Hornets but STILL managed to get 37 points.
5. Petrie signed Eddie House, who should bring some relief to those worried about someone to take Bobby's place.

I, for one, am tired of talking about the negatives. EVERY team has ups and downs. For some reason, when the Kings have them it isn't just part of the game - it's high drama. Well, I love this game and I love this team. Highs, lows - I love them through it all. Just like every year since the first one, I will moan over the losses and then look forward - because as far as I'm concerned, it could be (and has been) a LOT worse!

GO KINGS!!!!!

I do agree that Bibby is THE ICEMAN. Does this guy keep making big shots when needed or what? Most clutch. I'm still disappointed that our team went 2-2 on this road trip, but hey, I will always support them even if they drive me bonkers sometimes.

This is a great attitude (IMO) and one that I wholeheartedly share.

Negativity Ain't Bad ....

Hopefully, our Kings (Old and Young) are accepting the fact that NO TEAM is gonna lay-down for them. Over the past few years, the Kings have taken steps to improve and be one of the UPPER TEAMS and they are (thanks to The Maloof's). With that said, opponents know where the King's weaknesses are and they come right at 'em ... and the King's are not disappointing anybody but themselves and their fans ... US !!!!

I hope this past road trip opened-up their eyes ... can't relax one minute. Leads can vanish with the blink of an eye.

memo to VF21 - my negativity is called FRUSTRATION

We all know the Kings have the talent ... it just vanishes at times.

good points VF21. i was very frustrated with this trip since the kings easily could have gone 4-0 when to take into account who they were playing. but hey, they don't say any team can beat any team on any given night for no reason :)

it was nice to see peja light it up dispite a bad game from the perimter. and evans has sure done a nice job.

i'll be in a better mood when the kings KILL!!!! the nuggets :D

Positives from the road trip:

There were no plane crashes.

Roop da Hoop was not present.

Islamic terrorists failed to bomb the arenas.

There were no severe injuries to any Kings players.

i'm just glad that its over and that we have a back up point guard.... a win would have been nice, but no better than any other win. lets hope that they go out and win the next one......

Did Eddie play versus NO? I checked the PBP and I didn't saw a word of Eddie House...

I think with Eddie now in the team, KevMartin's PT will be slowly reducing, especially with his slow performance in the recent road trip....RA will not go in 10 man rotation!

Let's see...

As what piksi said, its finally over....

Eddie didn't play. And his appearance shouldn't really affect Kevin's PT, since Kevin is more a 2-guard than a PG. But who knows? IF Doug is indeed ailing more than he was before having his upper leg trampled on in NO, RA may indeed keep going 10 deep.
