Multiple sources are now reporting that Tyreke Evans will be named Rookie of the year with a formal announcement expected as early as tomorrow.

Kings fans have known suffering. Kings fans have known disappointment. Kings fans have known pure pain and agony.
Now, however, Kings fans finally know something else. They know what it feels like to have your dream become reality. Kings draft pick Tyreke Evans has won the 2009-10 NBA Rookie of the Year. And Kings fans can rejoice.

Congratulations to the young man who has put this franchise back on the road to relevance. Congratulations to Geoff Petrie for picking him in the first place, for the Maloofs for finally allowing Petrie to do his job and to Coach Paul Westphal for doing his job.

Today is a good day to be a Kings fan!

Thursday, April 29th is the perfect day for the NBA to announce Tyreke Evans of the Sacramento Kings as the 2009-2010 NBA Rookie of the Year.

Now I will have two reasons to celebrate tomorrow. Tyreke as ROY and my 34th birthday. Thanks for the great timing NBA!

Yeah, Webber felt so awful about it, too. As I posted some time back, we should make sure Webb knows that #4 was great for the Kings once again!
