Should kings get Cousins a big man coach?

(Something with no substantion)

No quote, no source, nothing on other Kings sites, nothing on the Bee, nothing on Jason Jones' Twitter, etc. Looks like a deliberate attempt at provocation. Not quoted in the hope that it will be eventually deleted. Wouldn't want my quote to trash up the site.

No delibarete provocation. Why would I do that? Let me say I have my sources, so you can trust me or not, you can delete it to, no problem, I wrote an info here about incident on practice. Maybe it will come out later...

The Kings play today in Portland. They would not have practiced today. It would have had to have happened yesterday, and nothing has come out about it.

Why would you do that? In a brief 51 posts here you have a history of trashing Cousins, trashing Evans, and anointing Beno the savior of the world. I don't know why you would do it, but it falls within your established M.O.

You'll perhaps forgive me for not believing that someone from Slovenia has an inside source in the Kings organization.

Unless his inside source is Beno

I forgive you! The world can be small...but as I said: I wrote here what I heard and I trust my source! Beno is not the savior of the world, but he is the most reliable Kings player at the moment and the whole season. Trashing Evans? Why not if he is playing like a crap! Trashing Cousins? I did that when he has those incidents with the coach and his body language is still like he is something like all star for last 20 years! Cousins is super talented but his head is not on the right place as we say here in Slovenia! Peace;-)

Who's your source. Everyone here posts links to support rumors. Where's your link? I'm pretty sure you live abroad, and if so, tell us who your trustworthy source is over there which we don't have access to in the states.

I heard through secret sources that Geoff Petrie decided to trade Reke to the Lakers for the rights to Luke Walton (Need to keep our broadcasters happy) and then followed it up with sending DeMarcus to the Heat for the veteran presence of Erik Dampier (We have wayyyy too may youngsters on this team).

not naming my sources, just saying what I heard.

Beno doesn't sleep, he waits.

Psychic hotline. Hey, if our arena can be named after the Power Balance...why not?

Magic 8-Ball?

Question for the experts: can a guy at Cousins' age, with focused offseason training, become more athletic? I'm not talking about strength, that can sure be done, i'm talking about explosivness, ability to jump higher and things like that.

Explosiveness, not so much. But stamina, definitely. So he can max out with effort for eight minutes at a time without taking a "break". So he can be relentless on the boards, not just for one little stint, but for long stints. Also, if he gets into great shape, that will assist his mental approach to the game, which will help him stay out of foul trouble.

I think some things can be improved on. Especially as you mention, stamina. There are some rules of nature that apply. Such as, you can either run fast, or you can't. You can either jump high, or you can't. You can either throw a baseball above 90 mph, or you can't. And in general, your pretty much stuck with whatever god given talent you have. However, all those things can be improved on to some small degree. I can almost guarantee you that you'll jump higher wieghing 265 pounds than you will wieghing 280 pounds. I suspect that you'll be significantly quicker as well, and possiblly run a little faster.

In short, I think Cousins can improve on, or lets say polish the athleticism that he has, and he can certainly improve his stamina. I know some of the criticism about Cousins is that he plays below the rim. Not a totally accurate statement since he can easily dunk the ball. But I know how it was intended. So here's the good news. Players that play below the rim are usually less prone to the major injuries that sometimes plague the high flyers. What goes up, has to come down, and sometimes the landings aren't exactly as intended.

Although for all we know, DeMarcus may currently be a fat Shawn Kemp, which means if he drops a good 30 pounds, he should be able to jump over the hoop.

A man can dream can't he?
