Should I be excited?

So my brother told me, before heading off to bed, that he is going to buy me a plane ticket home to Roseville for a week so I can spend time with my parents and also that my dad is going to try getting tickets to the final home game against the Lakers, which ironically will take place on my birthday. I do not know if I should be excited that I might get a chance to watch my favorite basketball team play on my birthday, or if I should be a little pissed off that it might very well be one of the final games I will ever get to watch in Sacramento. I am taking it for what its worth, and am hoping for a good game, but I expect to see a final score which screams blowout. Now, knock on wood and pray to god, I hope the blowout results in a Kings W, but I honestly do not see that happening, unless the players absolutely pour every last ounce of energy, sweat, blood, tears, and heart that is left in their bodies onto the PBP floor that night....

So, I ask my fellow Kingsfans.com buddies, should I be excited???????????????????

they will probably get up for the laker game, it won't mean anything but it will probably be as good a game as any kings game you can go to these days.

Of course you should be excited, it's still Kings basketball after all. That's what we're fighting to keep. :) As an added bonus, it will probably be an extra emotional game. I wish I could be there.

The Kings are not leaving Sacramento anytime soon. You can bank on that. Degenerate drug addict pathological liars that are mortgaged to the hilt are not going to convince 30 of the most successful businessmen in the country that it's a good idea to let them put a third team within 40 miles of two others which would trigger a clause that devalues 10%, 150 million dollars, the largest tv contract ever given out in basketball history, just so they can let a slimy wanna be slither his way into their club, and not lose their shirts on their NBA investment. The BOG is not stupid. Come on people!

Oh, and you should be totally excited!!!

I like how this has gotten worse and worse. Reminds me of the oft repeated story where somebody starts off having been in a fender bender backing into another car in the parking lot, and by the end of the week 20 people telling the story later he's been killed in a 50 car pileup out on the interstate involving a cow, 2 chickens, and a chimp wearing a sombrero.

Except the difference here is that the person who caused the fender bender kept driving, took out a stop sign, drove across the intersection, into oncoming traffic, hit a pedestrian, and finally smashed into the starbucks across the street, totaling their car, all while under the influence of "four coronas and a couple ambien."

In honesty: the word "degenerate" may have been slightly indulgent, and even though the drug addict part can't be proven, it's obvious to me. The pathological liar part surely cannot be argued.

Keep in mind this isn't an isolated incident that's triggering all the descriptives. It's the ongoing insanity, interviews, documents, etc. It's just that now, the actual demonstrable facts and behavior more or less support these kinds of statements. I, for a long time, mostly gave the Maloofs the benefit of the doubt, while others rained down criticisms. Now, I simply have enough evidence to know how mightily messed up this group of people is.

I guess I will be excited to watch the Kobes in action (hopefully without Kobe so we have a better shot at winning).

I also just found out that I will be at the game on Friday against the Durantula. I am actually excited for that one cuz OKC is actually one of my favorite teams to watch. Durant is an absolute stud...Hope they do well in the playoffs, I'd like to see them win the big one...
