Has anyone noticed that Sergio is getting extensive/un-needed minutes? Lately, too many times down the stretch he's been in command, but his erratic and un-controlled play hasn't helped the Kings at all.
I know he's known to be the "Spanish Chocolate," but I think he tries too hard to make something happen rather than letting the game come to him. He's a liability on defense (did Kobe really push you that hard?), he throws up 3's when he really isn't that great of a shooter, and he's constantly missing layups. In fact, I think his layups are worse than Spencer's!
Why not have Donte in, or Casspi? Tonight vs the Lakers, he had Sergio in until the last 2 minutes of the game. Casspi comes in a makes an immediate impact. I'm not saying Sergio lost the game for us, but he certainly hasn't helped much as of late. Westphaul needs to stop the Beno/Sergio backcourt because it's just not working.
