Strengths: rebounding, athleticism, driving game
Weaknesses: interior defense, inconsistent jumper, raw post game

Offense (Scoring & Passing)
Very athletic PF who overwhelmed opponents in college inside. Has the quickness to square up bigs around the perimeter and blow by them to the hoop. However jumper is erratic at this stage, and does not always look comfortable in the post against size. Struggles against length, which is going to be there every night in the NBA. In summer league showed some surprising ballhandling and passing ability, but also turned it over like crazy not knowing his limitations.

Defense & Rebounding
Has the mobility to switch and show aggressively around the perimeter, and to defend "stretch" 4s. Interior defense may be a different story. For some reason often seems to want to play with his hands down inside, is not a shotblocker despite his athleticism, and often does not even challenge penetration in the lane. Struggled defending size in summer league, getting moved out of position, shot over, and often resorting to low percentage wrap around steal gambles rather than holding his position. Was one of the better rebounders in college basketball, especially on the defensive glass, and rebounding often translates to the next level.

Intangibles
Rep as a hardworking and mature kid who has had to endure a lot of hardships to get where he is. Very competitive player. Game looked further away from NBA ready than expected in summer league, like a player still figuring things out. Chiseled and athletic body, but not bulky and right on the border of being light for an NBA big. Combined with some surprising skillls he did flash in summer league, and some suprising ones he did not, makes one wonder about his SF potential in the future.
