What's going on out by the bay? I thought we would have come out of the gates with some serious fire because of what has taken place the last handful of seasons (i.e. playoff failures) and also because of the changes we made during the offseason.

Sharks fans, should we be worried right now?
Is this just a slow start? Will we recover?
What do you expect from this team for the remainder of the season now that the first handful of games are completed?

I am not a SJ fan but I like this team and watch at least 25 games every season.

I am sure they are gong to be alright. It is too early to panic. Usually it takes about 25 games to settle down and see what you've got. They have great offensive players, nice collection of hard-hitting and puck-moving defenders, an All-star goalkeeper. And I have to say that they are pretty balanced. The Caps is a great example of a dis-balanced team - great forwards and absurd defenders. SJ is not like that.
However, the Sharks have some problems. They solved the biggest one last year by acquiring a puck-moving defender. It really helped them last season. But team defense is not solid. They make too many silly mistakes, leave empty zones, make Nabby's life much tougher (do not clear rebounds, block his own goalkeeper's view of the puck). Great teams CANNOT make these little league mistakes. You pay for that every postseason.
