i don't know about anyone else but when i hear about players from sacramento playing good i get really happy and proud. I love seeing lance briggs tear it up with the bears, and its really cool seeing donte stallworth starting to live up to his potential with the saints. Onterio was good last year for a while and then the whole drug thing came up. Anybody know of anyother players?

thats crazy i didn't know that derrick lee from the cubs is from sac. Man he is really good. He was playing really good at the beginning of this season. I know seneca wallace is from sac too, he is the backup quarterback for the Seahawks, but hardly ever plays.

No love for F.P Santalengo? Jeff Blauser? Dave Martinez? Jerry Manuel?

Edit: And Chris Bosio who threw a no-hitter in 1994.

Bosio, Vina, Blauser, and Vaughn all played on Sac State's Baseball team.

We could go on forever.

Lance BRIGGS!!! HELLO! :D (Elk Grove) and he is in the Pro-Bowl. Also Ryan Dinwiddie played for the Bears as well, but I am not sure if he still does or if he was cut.

James Kidd (Elk Grove) Played for NFL Europe, and I believe he was on a few NFL squads as well.

He went to Florin his freshman year of HIgh School until his mom transfered him to Elk Grove. Only Florin High Football players really know about that.

I didn't know that.. I wasn't at EG at the time Briggs played. I graduated a few years before. But it's still neat to follow your school.

Does anybody know what happen to Parris Warren (Grant High School) out of Utah? I know he was one of Alex Smith's favorite targets. Where did he land?
