Kevin Martin was as curious as the Kings fans themselves to hear from Reggie Theus at the end of the season, so he picked up the local newspaper and read the sports page Thursday morning.

Wow Kev sounds kinda pissed. I mean I kinda agree with Reggie, but he needs to shut up at times instead of being so honest about how he feels, or atleast explain it better. He sucks at managing NBA player egos. It seems like Martin took it as Reggie calling him soft and a choker(which is basically what Reggie said).

Also am glad that Kevin stuck up for his teammate and said he would like to play with him. I think he was being honest about that.

Theus is correct. The problem is, if this is Kevin's team, it doesn't reflect nicely on him. Looks like Theus still has a lot of learning to do.

Whether one considers Kevin a choker or not, I think this convincingly resolves the question of whether Reggie's mouth is often too big.

It also resolves the question of whether Kevin's occasional disappearing into a corner when Ron comes into the game means that he doesn't like playing with Ron.

Nice to hear Kevin sticking up for himself. Humility is great, but I don't really want him to believe every criticism that comes along. He needs self-confidence, too. I'd hate to have him lose his nerve and turn into a choker.
