The surest sign of how fast the six years went by is that more starters from the 2001-02 Kings who reached the Western Conference finals are now retired (Doug Christie, left, Chris Webber, center, and Vlade Divac, right) than still playing (Mike Bibby, Peja Stojakovic). Christie had hoped for a comeback this season, after last playing in February 2007, but it never materialized. The three primary reserves from that team Bobby Jackson, Hedo Turkoglu and Scot Pollard remain active.
