If the NBA had retained the Comeback Player of the Year Award, the trophy should have gone to Brad Miller. He didn't overcome a serious substance abuse problem or recover from reconstructive knee surgery. He didn't haul himself out of bed after suffering from a yearlong bout of mononucleosis.
Notes: Miller scheduled for elbow surgery
Tonight's game: Kings vs. Portland

Brad Miller will have surgery Friday to remove a bone chip from his right elbow.

Yea right, why does't she mention how teams scouting reports includes attacking him on both ends of the court and tell their players to attack the paint. How about how Millers lack of self control has cost the kings games for the last few seasons. She mentions comeback player of the year LOL for what? For being semi-profesional again, the man gets paid well the least he should do is be in fair shape. Get real.

Give it a rest. You hate Miller and there is nothing good he has ever done. Why say the same thing over and over again. Its hard for an unbiased person not to note that he has been much improved this year.

I think Brad, for all his faults, has shown a remarkable quality as a professional... he brought himself back for PRIDE and to help his team. He didn't have to. There are many who haven't ... who have simply faded away while their bank accounts continued to amass incredible amounts of money.

And you're right, Heuge. People who hate Miller are just like people who hated Webb or Peja or anyone else. They'll always find something to belittle them about...

Good luck with the work this summer, Brad. I'd love to see you come back strong one more year to give Spencer a little more opportunity to learn before he fills your shoes.
