I am not fond of the offense with the kids on the floor. I am much more comfortable with Franklin out there, when she is playing with Lawson and Powell. Conversely, I am also more comfortable with Harper and Allen when Penicheiro is setting them up. Seeing the three of them out on the court at the same time does not fill me with warm fuzzy feelings.

I like what I see: 27-16. Kelly with some nice contributions. And also stop giving it to Williams-Strong...she can't hold it too.

first half observations:
1. I don't know how i feel about these shared minutes. I think we need to see more of powell. i understand them worrying about her jet lag during the first game, but c'mon...she is our biggest offensive threat!

2. so far I am liking this Kelly acquisition

3. what was up with that commentators comment "it appears [demya's] bball career is over"...um, ok....obviously you don't know what you are talking about when earlier you referred to her as Demya Moore. who the hell is that?

I don't know... that seems like a rather flimsy reason to dismiss the argument. By the time this season is over with, Walker will only have played in fifty out of the last one hundred thirty-six games she could have possibly played, and clearly seems to be injury prone. To say that her career may be over may seem harsh to Monarchs/Walker fans, but it's certainly fair, given the circumstances. I'm not going to sit here and say I haven't wondered the same thing myself so, to me, no-selling the comment because of getting the name wrong seems kind of thin; it's not like broadcasters never make mistakes on live television...

it was a joke, not a basis for reasoning
