Successful Trade Scenario
Congratulations on a successful trade.
Due to Sacramento and New Jersey being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Sacramento and New Jersey had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Why for us: We have too many wing players and we need to get a PG. Marcus Williams was decent when he got time, but he's never going to get a shot with Harris there. We clear minutes for Thompson/Hawes by getting rid of Moore and we get a nice back up big for them in Boone. Boone is the perfect guy there, he's 6'10'', athletic, long, and a good defender.
Why for NJ: They clear a year off of Hassel's contract by swapping him for Moore who has a buy out option on his contract for the last season. They have no need for Marcus Williams with Harris there. They also don't need Boone with Sean Williams, Krstic, Yi, Lopez, etc. They can use a wing player and some shooting, Cisco is the perfect guy next to Carter or whoever they plan to play at SG. He's a nice replacement SF for RJ and he doesn't cost them much.
