I wouldn't do this.. Kidd is getting older, and whether we have Kidd, or Bibby as a stopgap until we start contending for the playoffs makes no difference.

Another reason is that Bibby is doing well since coming back. The Kings passing, and assists have gone through the roof because Biby gets to open player who gets to another open player who scores. Passing w/ Bibby in the lineup is wonderful and fun to watch!
Since Bibby has started out team has put together a nice streak of decent assist total games..
30 assists 12 turnovers

avg 23.4 assists to 14.6 turnovers

Just to compare the prev 5 games to Bibby coming back we had;

avg 17.6 assists to 15.8 turnovers

Now tell me why did you want to trade Bibby?

Bibby is not the problem on the Kings, and there is no reason to trade Bibby for Kidd when we wouldn't have either one of them when contending for the playoffs again.

wouldnt the cavs be getting kidd in this deal? the kings get snow, gibson and newble... wouldnt we have to throw in douby as well because he and gibson are the exact same player except gibson is just better... still a scrub but better than douby...

ahh I read it wrong.

I saw Jason Kidd next to the Kings logo. Never the less, Why the heck would we trade Bibby? Check the stats above and compare them to when we didn't have Bibby.. Our assists have gone up with Bibby starting, and turnovers have gone down.
