Why Kings do the trade?

This trade would be great if it went down. Kings get a decent backup PG for Bibby; Duhon can play defense and Griffin is a good role player. Also, Duhon and Khryapa have expiring contracts as well. Griffin has two years on his contract.

Why Bulls do the trade?
SAR can be a low post scorer for the Bulls in which they are lacking as of now.

If these salaries work out, it would be nice to get these guys but I'm afraid that they may not be getting enough back in return.....not that any of those guys are anything great

The salaries do work out, I used RealGM Trade Checker. At least with this trade the Kings get Duhon, he's a decent backup PG behind Bibby, and can pass well and play some D! Griffin and Khryapa can play and at least Khryapa is an expiring contract and so in all, the Kings are mainly acquiring Duhon for SAR.

This might have been possible last season, and I actually wanted this to happen, but it won't happen now, unless they get hit with injuries up front (hope not, Bulls are 2nd favorite team). They now have Joakim Noah and Joe Smith added to their frontcourt, and minus P.J. Brown.

The Bulls don't need SAR. They already have Joe Smith ,Tyrus Thomas and possibly Mike Sweetney at the 4. All can play in the post, although Thomas is the less polished (but the most talented) of the three. At this point in their careers, I can't say SAR is any better of a low post presence than either Smith or Sweetney. SAR does have the better footwork, but he can't pass out of a double team to save his life. Everytime he was doubled, he either turned it over or forced a bad shot. And that's not the kind of low post presence the Bulls had in mind.
