Because its in 1 vs 2 ....3 vs 4 format. People can only choose 1 of those when there are 2 matches going on.

Each option has two names. Is this not how Brick did his? By picking a selection, you are voting for two bands.

If you think Francisco's is better than KingsFaithful and PDX is better than NoBonus, then you select Francisco and PDX. Clear?

It made perfect sense to me. It is the only way that you can have it anonymous and still make sure that noone votes twice.
