Keegan tooKeon already did that in last seasons play-in win.....and generally defends him about as good as anybody

I havent read the whole thread, is he eligible for post season? I thought there was a signing date that players had to be rostered by for post season eligibility.
Why not? I still feel like our decision to kick out Davis last year and replace with Duarte was the beginning of the end. It was the team trying to "grow up" by getting a more competent defender but it took away a big piece of our bench firepower. Davis can make some boneheaded plays from time to time, but he plays hard and he can go nuclear offensively from time to time. Those type of bench guys can win a game for you here and there.
Just think what two more wins would have done for the Kings this year. It's maddening, really. The problem with signing TD this year, as opposed to last, was that his Achilles heel had not mended before the start of the regular season. There was no guarantee he would return to his previous hyper athleticism.
We would still be looking at the 9th spot, and a play-in date with the team in 10th. 2 more wins wouldn't have been any more "needle moving" as whatever number of wins we will actually end the season with.Just think what two more wins would have done for the Kings this year. I'm going to have to somewhat disagree in this instance (respectfully, of course), as I am not quite sure 2 more wins would have had as significant of a psychological impact as you (and possibly others) may seem to believe they would. Not arithmetically speaking, but psychologically having a winning record feeds on itself. This team has gone up and under the water more times than a bobber in a school of lake perch.
