Relegation and expansion: USL has ambitious plan to surpass MLS as top US soccer league

The idea of "relegation" is one that very strongly interests me, as I would like to see a North American League adopt that. I hope the USL follows through and makes it happen. If they do, I then also hope that the Republic don't jump ship to the MLS. As I agree with the notion that the USL eventually surpasses the MLS as the top US/North American soccer league.

Semis is when the remaining MLS sides might play their best XI but hell of a run either way. My stupid team* never takes this tournament seriously which annoys the crap out of me since it is an easy ticket to the CONCACAF Cup (another sore spot).


*Republic are my team this season, but the other dumb one.
