Report: Raptors near agreement with Vasquez (The SportsXchange)

The Toronto Raptors are close to reaching an agreement with guard Greivis Vasquez after signing forward Patrick Patterson to a three-year, $18 million contract on Friday. Vasquez, a restricted free agent who came to the Raptors in a December trade with the Sacramento Kings, is expected to back up point guard Kyle Lowry next season. Terms of Vasquez's deal were unknown. He came to the Raptors as part of the Rudy Gay trade with the Kings.
