Remember when we talked about miracles?

We might have just used it all up! Just imagine if we could have applied tonight's miracle ration to hitting the lottery and landing LeBron James. (I mean, really, the probabilities would probably be pretty similar!)

and now if "that" miracle had happened we'd be really worried that "LeBron" would be leaving Kings for NY Knicks or elsewhere. Heck, he probably would not have ever signed a long-term deal with us anyway following rookie deal. Although it's nothing to worry about for awhile with Tyreke, I suppose we'll be sweating just like Cavs fans are now about our new stars resigning - when time comes in 2-3 years. I think with LeBron it's better than 50-50 that he'll go elsewhere. In the NBA with all the free agency I think you just have to enjoy the moment and not worry too much about what can happen next.

Actually, I meant hitting the lottery this year and also landing LeBron in free agency. Either way, it was just a joke.

If I'm Lebron James, I look at Sac and go:

"Hey, if I played in Sac I could win seven championships alongside that super rookie, that crazy jewish kid, and that hyper PF that everybody has been giving props. Do I dare? What's their market like? Oh..."

:D

Landing James. That would be a miracle.

Didn't watch the game last night. Woke up this morning, checkin the boxscore n what not, and was thinking "damn, another nice road win for the kings."

Clicked on the recap. came back from 35 down. laughed my *** off.

ummm, I was actually referring to miracles that can be created by actual Kings players. Fantasizing about getting other players, even if they are Lebron, is another form of not believing in your own squad. Of course, there is nothing wrong with trying to obtain great players, but the point I was trying to make is that whoever is there on the court needs to believe that winning is possible regardless of how bad things look at that moment. And this might be somewhat superstitious but I think that if the fans keep believing its possible, it will somehow rub off on the players and we will witness more and more miracles like the one we saw last night.

Subjective.

Not at all the case with me. I thought we were talking about miracles in general, my bad.

Maybe Kings fans, like Maccabi fans, will start believing in miracles after tonight's game :)

I know what you're saying...and, as I said in my blog, I BELIEVE!

I've been a Kings fan since 1985 and I can honestly say I've never felt hope and optimism like right now. Back when it was all about Vlade, Chris, Doug, Peja, etc. we KNEW they were good. It wasn't a pleasant surprise to see them take us higher than any Kings team had taken us before.

This time, though, we're seeing guys at the very beginning of their careers start to get their games together...and we all get to go along for the ride.

:)
