Rejuvinated play, renewed interest

The recent play of the Sacramento Kings have renewed my interest in watching the team play again this season. Now I am no "fair weather" fan nor do I judge whether I want to watch the Kings play or not on their record, it more has to do with the watchability of the basketball.

Over the last couple of weeks not only has the team gelled a little bit more as a cohesive unit, but they have been playing inspired basketball, and showing they actually care about winning or losing.

Previous to this streatch of games, regardless of the outcome, their effort was pee poor at best, thus in my mind making some of the games unwatchable. I have spoken before how I would have rather watched the 30 win teams from the late 80's early 90's over this team at the beging of the year, because no matter how bad they were, for the most part their best effort was put forth, I see that again and as a almost 20 year fan of the Sac Kings it pleases me. If you would have asked me 4 weeks ago if I would have paid to go see the Kings this year I probably would have said no, I would have gone for free, but not spent money, I cannot say the same today about the same group of guys based on their newley found level of enthusiasm about the sport that is their livelyhood.

Well, I would have paid to see the Kings 4 weeks ago, and I'd pay to see them now, but I agree that the effort and play is looking much better There seems to be some chemistry building, and there seems to be some real effort out there. I am looking forward to the games coming up & I hope this renewed energy and excitement continues. I agree, it is MUCH more fun to watch!:D
