Incase someone doesn't see the message on the league page can someone lock all the players Venom dropped? It could give someone in the playoffs an unfair advantage if they were to use them..

Gary - who do you think is good out there that Venom dropped??? I agree with VF21. Its not like Venom dropped Tom Brady, Brian Westbrook, Andre Johnson or someone that is top 20 caliber.

IF I were to pick up someone, the only one I would even consider is F. Gore, however, he hasn't been doing anything as of late. In the last 4 games, he has only had 2 TD's.

If I felt someone dropped a player intentionally that I thought would give another team an advantage, then they wouldn't be playing next year. Period.

A cheater's league? I think that's totally uncalled for. I also think what Venom did was totally uncalled for and pretty juvenile.

I guess I have a lot more respect for the rest of the players on this league - some of whom I've played against for years - than you do. I would NEVER call any of them cheaters or resort to this kind of dialog. But maybe that's just me.

This isn't a cheater league. Kingsfans league has been going on for a long time and will continue. I agree that Venom shouldn't have dropped all his players and was pretty tacky. However, I don't see how it will give another team an advantage.

The players that Venom dropped are F. Gore, who hasn't done anything as of late, W. Dunn, who hasn't done anything as of late except 1 TD in the last 4 games, and Isaac Bruce, who has had only 1 TD in the last 4 games.

The rest of the players such as Joe Nedney, Roscoe Parrish, Green Bay defense, Chicago Defense or Chris Brown, I don't think are very good. Do you?

I will say this, if everyone wants me to lock those players than I will, however, it has to be unanimous.

I guess it's your call but I will say, however, having been a league commissioner for a number of years, that you won't get a unanimous opinion. There is nothing to be lost by locking those players and it would prevent any kind of bad taste at the end of what, to me, has been a pretty good league, even if I didn't make the playoffs.

First off, sorry about the cheaters statement I made. I was upset about the player dump, not at the person that would use them, because they probably wouldn't know any better.

I vote that I would like you to lock those players if possible... It takes a lot of the fun out of a league when someone does that, and I wouldn't want to be a part of a "playoff" that had a team or teams stacking their lineup with dropped players. I would never think of adding players like that because it's kind of lame.

Gore in the last three games avg'd something like 20+ fantasy points per game. Receptions are a big part of the running back position in that league. A couple weeks ago he had like 10 of them. Regardless of the TD total the receptions and yards alone make him much better than 3 out of 4 of my backs. Fargas hasn't scored but I use him every week because he gets receptions and yards.

As for Dunn the same deal. He has only 600 yds, and 3tds but he is still better than 2-3 of my backs, and would be used immediately in and W/R spot.

Bruce is kind of so-so, but he is better than any receiver on the FA market right now by at least 2x.

Three starting caliber (4 including Clark if someone was weak at TE like me) players that would/will be picked up..

What's the problem w/ just making those players ineligible for play or put them back on Venoms team? I guarantee the person that gets those players would play them if given the chance so why make it an option?

Rockmeister and I have both been looking for a way to lock individual players and haven't been able to find it. I did suggest something to her, though, and if it works you'll either see those players back on venom's roster, or you'll see them on mine where they'll obviously be sitting and watching the playoffs with Tom Brady...

This is just really upsetting.

I couldn't find an option that will individual lock a player up and there really isn't an option in putting the player back on his team.

I will be on the look out if anyone picks up those 3 players that are F. Gore, W. Dunn and I. Bruce.

I hope people will do the right thing and not pick up those players. By the way, I did lock Venom's team.

G_M picked them up but he said he wouldn't use them. I believe he was #1 on waiver so he would get all 3.

Actually I was first on the waiver list, so I put in claims on all of them. Between me and G_M, that should solve a big part of the problem.

waitaminute, why was me dropping those guys so bad? I was just trying to do people favors, I didn't drop them out of spite or because my team sucked. Well i'm sorry then I didn't think it would be that big of a deal. Also I had 2 of the best defenses that I dropped so somebody might wanna pick them up as a precaution also. Again, sorry about that I thought it would be perfectly fine, especially because none of those guys are really freakin good this year.

My bad. I forgot about reception that are counted. I am commissioner at another league and our scoring is very different than Yahoos.

It seems like there won't be an issue with the players that Venom dropped.
