The NBA will play pre-season games across Canada for the third season in a row, the league announced Monday, with October matchups set in Vancouver and Montreal. The Toronto Raptors, the league's only team outside the United States, will play Sacramento in Vancouver on October 5 and face the New York Knicks on October 24 in Montreal. "We are honored to play host to the Kings and Knicks as part of NBA Canada Series," said Masai Ujiri, the Nigerian-born president and general manager of the Raptors. Seven Canadian players have been drafted into the NBA in the past three years, with eight now on league rosters.
