Well aren't we like 4-0 or something like that against them in the past two seasons?
Under that sort of "deep" analysis the Seattle Sonics and New York Knicks were better teams than us through our entire run as an elite team.

This is a Pacers team which won 61 two years ago and went to the ECF, has replaced Reggie from that team with Stephen Jackson (and two years ago Reggie did not look nearly as good as he did last year), and has seen the continued development of Jamaal Tinsley and the bench through that disaster last season. In some ways they might be BETTER, with the only thing missing being an adequate Al Harrison replacement.

1) Spurs (champ until proven otherwise...Ginobili has mad hops)
2) Pistons (defense, defense, defense)
3) Heat (Shaq...that's all we need to say)
4) Suns (JJ-less but still potent with Nash, Marion, and Stoudemire)
5) Mavs (free spending Cuban ensures deep bench after star Nowitzki)
6) Rockets (can't ignore Tracy and Yao)
7) Kings (with Shareef we are golden but not championship golden)
8) Pacers (Artest, Jackson, and O'Neil still formidable under Carlisle)
9) Nuggets (two words...George Karl)
10) Warriors (Baron and low-post Diogu gives them 40-45+ wins...playoff bound?)

28) Knicks (Isaiah's moves ruined that team...even Larry Brown can't save them)
29) Hawks (overpaying JJ but just not gonna get it done)
30) Hornets (need we say more)

Damn, I knew I forgot someone.... The nuggets.... On my list, drop out sixers, and move 6-9 to 7-10 and have nuggets at 6th.
