Congrats again, I was screaming for you last September, and I have my Wheaties Championship box (on display in secure lucite container), so don't freak out at this question!

Ticha is a free agent. She has her ring. What do you think the odds are that she would sign with the Liberty if made an offer? IMHO, We could use her help...Do you know if she has any ties in the New York area? How deep are her roots in Sacto now?

I don't think so. I was always one that wanted to trade Ticha. Even last season, when DeMya went down, I was advocating trading Ticha for another power forward. Not anymore. I was wrong. Ticha is a Monarch until (gulp......) the day she retires, I think.

As you can tell in my voice, I have a lot of uncertainty, but in all seriousness Ticha should be the Monarchs point guard in 2006. I think the monarchs have enough talent to make a run for back to back. That can not happen without Ticha Penicheiro as the floor general.

Full agreement here. Kristen may be our future, but Ticha is our NOW. Besides, who else can inspire and teach our younger players?

i doubt she would leave.. I mean, it is Yo's last year, we've got a pretty good chance at repeating, plus the money would be the same.
