Question for anyone who'd know

I went to Costco today and saw a Tivo system (series 2) for $269 with a $100 rebate. Is that a good price?

I'm going to have to do some research to see if it is compatible with every tv system (cable, satellite etc)-it says it is, but I'll have to see before really thinking about buying one.

I think that's a good price....but is it a 40 hour Tivo, or the 80 hour one. If it's the 80 hour one, it's a great price...and probably still good even if it's just the 40 hour one. By the way, Tivo ROCKS! I don't know how I lived without it.
