I think that Splitter is the most NBA ready out of the Euro bigs. Gasol is still learning and would get worked, although I like his toughness, and Fesenko isnt ready either, IMO. Splitter actually plays D and knows how to finish on the offensive end, as he's improved quite a bit the last couple years.

I think there's a pretty strong chance the Maloofs may just step back and let Geoff Petrie do his job, at least for now. And the "aggressive" approach to acquisitions just MIGHT mean a green light from the Maloofs to do what it takes to turn this around.

I am cautiously optimistic for the first time in quite a while.

Yea, it's pretty exciting if Petrie is out on attack mode. Very interesting to see what happens. Can't wait.
