Preserves.

For breakfast, I just had a buttermilk biscuit with orange marmalade and a glass of milk. On biscuits, I like orange. On toast, I go apple/boysenberry. On the rare occasion that I eat PB/J, it's all about the grape. If I had to pick one over the others?:

What are your favorite preserves?

(sorry for posting in the NBA forum, no delete capability). Lol.

I love grape, strawberry and raspberry. I never could get into the marmalade thing and the other berries are too out there for bread IMO

I hear the marmalade thing is catching on. At least, that's the word on the street. ;)

I hate strawberries and I can accept the booing and hissing. I've got some weird food quirks. I love Brussells sprouts, but can't stand strawberry anything. I also hate popcorn, can't tell you the last time I've had it. I even hate the smell. It's as bad to me as cigarette smoke, esp burnt popcorn.

There are ONLY two kinds of preserves that I buy....peach and apricot. I love em both. I got strawberried out years ago, but I could still eat it if there was nothing else.

I hate dry toast, but I would eat it that way before I used grape. As for sandwiches...the other day I wanted some peanut butter (chunky only) and the only jelly in the house was grape. So, I mixed some syrup with my pb and made a sweet chunky peanut spread. It was quite good. :)

Don't like popcorn??? What's wrong with you lol I agree with the smell about when it's burnt though. It lingers forever. Brussel sprouts??? GROSS That's one vegetable I cannot stand which is weird b/c I love cabbage.

6th. I'm sorry but that syrup thing sounds nasty but as long as you liked it then it's all good.
I put BBQ sauce and Doritos on my baked potatoes and I guess some people would say that's weird but when you're a vegetarian you have to get creative.:D

Definitive preserve desires. I like that.

PB's a funny thing. It tastes good on everything from crackers to celery. In the vain of thick buttery spreads, apple butter is pretty good on toast too.

Gross stuff. I hate to even think about it because I start to imagine the smell.

BS's are an acquired taste. I avoid cabbage because of the methane.

When you think about it, why is BBQ sauce any weirder to put on a baked potato than sour cream? Try a little yellow mustard on a baked potato, with some salt and pepper. Not bad.

Ok hoopsy Now I have 2 reasons why I don't like you!!;):D

Favorite jelly - mint
Favorite jam - boysenberry
Favorite preserves - peach

I used to be able to fight with hoopsfan - then I met her. Now, I regret to say I like her too much to get really rowdy. Of course, this is all subject to change should our teams actually regain their old stature and rivalry.

Thanks for the kind words VF...right back at ya.:)
But remember...I will always be an "evil Laker fan". ;) Both our teams have some work to do to get back that rivalry.
