one would like to think they would do the samething as the open practice. it wasnt a bad feed at all and i would be completely satisfied with that. and i believe its free on thier part. hopefully i am right, im ready for some kings games!

I would be surprised if they didnt do this if it was an option, However, I think the NBA might have some kind of rules against live streaming a real pre season game over something like Ustream.. I mean, I dont see the NBA letting the kings do it if they dont get some kind of traffic from it.

Ive had league pass for years.

Correct me if Im wrong, but the games that are on league pass are only there when one of the two teams playing has a broadcast.

For example, our first 2 games against portland .. the Blazers arent showing there pre-season games either. So neither team will be broadcasting it.. which means league pass wont have it.

Correct, there has to be a broadcast of it somewhere.

So we will not be able to watch any of the preseason games at all?

I have been on KINGS withdrawal all summer, loyally monitoring the draft and the summer roster changes, eagerly anticipating the videos of training camp, was very happy and thankful I could attend the open practice, eagerly anticipating and planning to hoard the hdtv to watch the preseason games only to learn that I will not be able to watch them at all, on tv or online. I am genuinely devastated. The failure of Maloof Sports & Intertainment to secure broadcasting for the preseason games has left me as well as possibly many other loyal kings fans hanging. Not a good thing when you are trying retain fans. This is a big lose-lose for us all.

Yea, this really sucks big time.....

But they are probably betting we'll get over it and forget all about it when the regular season starts. :p Guess thats why they've been so successfull in Vegas:D. Darn them Maloofs......

welcome to my world.... a kings fan with no kings games to watch.

I'd be lying if I said it didn't matter to me. I was looking forward to the preseason games. I find it strange that Maloof Sports and Entertainment would hype the draft, and promote the Kings all over town in trying to up ticket sales, and then, when they have the actual product to display, they don't.

I realize that its an expensive enterprize to produce a televised game, but I think it might have been worth the money in the long run. If not all, then at least the away games. It probably made Grant happy though. He doesn't seem to like much of preseason anything.

Since the Lakers are broadcasting all their games they should at least be on for that one. The portland games won't be on.

The Portland game was the one game that I was anticipating the most. I can’t make the game tonight but I really wanted to watch this...Whoever goes to the game, have fun.

So disappointing, I mean usually LP will have it but I looked it the only channels that show up are NBA TV and 1 LP station and nothing is scheduled -_-

Is there any way to listen to the Portland game on the radio? 1140 isn't streaming it on broadband and I'm out of the area.

I'm having the same problem. I was listening to Sportsline on the live feed, and then it switched over to the Sharks broadcast. I'm out of the area and so I have to rely on an internet feed of some sort.

Anyone have any ideas of where I can find a place to listen to the game?

Look in the game thread. I'm going to close this one to prevent further confusion.

:)
