Potential Free Agent/Trade/Sign Tracker, '25-'26 Season

They’re completely different players though. Turner isn’t mobile enough to really guard on the perimeter, which sorta forced Domas to always guard down whenever they were on the floor together. Evan Mobley is quite possibly the most mobile 7 foot tall defensive big in the history of the NBA
KG would not be happy with this statement

Mobley's versatility is useless next to Domas if Domas is a traffic cone, I know we are trying really hard to convince ourselves that it would work but the truth would come to light in a timely manner

Woof.

The opinion of domas on this forum has certainly become "something".

If you think Mobley can't work next to Domas, then literally nobody can. Which on turn, means you think Domas is useless.

Melo doesn’t play winning basketball. Takes a ton of bad shots

He probably does take some bad shots, but it’s literally him and Miles Bridges as scoring options and not much else. Brandon Miller has potential, but he’s been inconsistent so far.

I’d want to see what he can do next to a guy like Domas in the halfcourt and running with a guy like LaVine on the fast break.

Domas has his usefulness but there are far too many variables at play here if you want to have a strong defense that can advance in the postseason and I'm afraid having him being a starter and this becoming a reality is not realistic in my view.

Turner is slow. He’s nowhere near the athlete Mobley is.

no doubt. Turner is a paint protector but Indiana managed to build out the rest of the roster to compliment his strong points with point of attack defenders in Nesmith & Nembhard despite having Hali

Huh?

He's a great player and a very good rim protector, but he's not a defensive unicorn. He cannot guard up 1-5.

Turner doesn't need to guard 1-5 to be impactful. We are getting too obsessed with players being able to guard all five positions when in reality he can only cover so much ground.

We need a lead guard beggars can’t be choosers I’ll take my chances with Melo

any trade where the Kings get Kuminga without sacrificing first round draft picks is a win for Perry. Time to work those phones Scott
