I honestly don’t blame the Rockets for holding off, he has been injured an awful lot so far and they have the Amen contract to think about
Also, there's not *really* a starting spot for him long-term.
They chose Jabari, KD should be in the other wing spot and Sengun in the big spot. $100 mil is a big chunk of a change for a guy that's not really locked into 30+ MPG for the life of that contract.
They'd have to really believe Amen IS their PG going forward. He was solid last night, but I think he'd just be better being a terror on the wing and a secondary creator/ball-handler on offense.
