Yeah...that would be a coup for the Grizz. They will be much improved by the end of this season, especially seeing as they were underacheiving this year already. A lot of potential this year, more after this trade.
No because both Wright ($7,700,000) and Battier ($4,900,000) come off the books at the end of the year which makes sense for the rebuilding New Orleans. Where as Thomas has 5 years remaining and Skinner another 2.
True but its not often you get a chance to get All-Star center and Magloire and Gasol would be a pretty good frontcourt.
I can see advantages for both sides but I am sure Grizzlies would like to keep Battier and trade Posey (has one year remaining and player option for the second year) instead but if the push comes to shove, I can see Memphis giving Battier as well.
I don't think its that bad of a deal for the Hornets they have been shopping Magloire...and it would definetly get them something solid for the SF(which they are desperate need of) and center positions though they still need to find that one go to impact player...
