Poison Gets Clowned by Adelman

Did anybody here that tonight!! Aileen Poison asked Rick Adelman a question during his informal press conference, and he just blew her the hell off by saying aburptly NEXT QUESTION!!!

You can not tell me these guys do not read the newspaper. It is about time somebody let Poison know what time it is and that her reckless journalism is not appreciated.
 
yeah that was mentioned in the Grades thread...but i really love the way you put "clowned" in the title of this thread...lol...she so did...lol

Do you think you can be a little bit more specific? What kind of questions did she ask him? Was it on t.v.? Radio?

It was on radio? She asked him something like since the trade of Chris Webber, and I couldn't make out the rest. It was classic.
 
She asked (i think, or something to the effect of) "What is the Chris Webber trade going to do for Peja..."

Then RA said " Next question"
 
You know it's kind of funny but everything Voison has said has pretty much been true...... Division in the Kings locker room.......Webber on the trading block???

Maybe, but it is her intentions. There is not a column written by her that has something to do with the Kings, and somewhere out of her "poison" pen she refers to Webber getting traded.
 
Richard G.W.E. Adelman is a true gentleman, so he would have to be extraordinarily unhappy with Voison to have done that. I am astounded.

Rick must feel that she has actually damaged the team, or hurt some players, with her inflamatory opinion pieces. Otherwise he would never had said something like that in public. Moreover, I suspect that he is comfortable with any potential response from the Maloofs or Geoff Petrie. I think Rick must be comfortable that he is speaking for the entire organization.

Well, he did just get his option picked up a month ago :)
 
I wish I heard what took place, but I had a night class to attend. Anyway, I'm glad RA said that and put her in her place. I heard bad things about her, but I had to find out first hand for myself. I'll never forget the time I interviewed Doug Christie, along with other reporters. Needless to say AV would not let anyone get a question in as she tried to make it a one-on-one conversation. I just thought to myself screw it and jumped right in despite the fact I was new to the media business. I'm sure I pissed her off because I looked at her from the corner of my eye after I asked Christie a question. Before I knew it, we went right after one another in asking more questions. So yeah, it's true. She has a huge ego and she's a ***** if you ask me. :-)
 
If I were Coach Adelman, and knowing as I do how she is, I would not want to answer any of her questions as far as Webber/Peja due to the fact that whatever I would say she would probably manage to twist it around and turn it against Webber...
