PLEASE READ: Indexing topics of discussion

I've sticked the Education Points thread for now. I'll try working on a comprehensive index of points covered this weekend.

I think what we need is to retain the thread concept and make sure our thread titles are clear cut and self-explanatory.

I don't know if it can be done, but would sub-forums within the New Arena forum help? If so, what categories would you like to see? Or would it just segment the discussions?

I like Steve's idea about the issue index. I just may need some help assembling it.

That is great, Christine. It's a heck of a lot of work, true, but it would be so valuable.

A couple suggestions:

1) When you make the thread, it should be locked out to members and only accessible by whatever mods are working on the project. All discussion of the responses to issues should take place in other threads. In that way, you have a clean "document" with the issues and responses easy to read.

2) I got a letter from the Kings yesterday saying that they were going to set up a special website for this initiative. So you may want to look into that to see if there are any synergies that can be captured from their efforts.

I would also suggest that links also include key websites like Steve mentioned above and others like these:
Railyard developer Thomas Enterprises for this Railyard project:
http://www.sacramentorailyards.com/project/project.asp

The City of Sacramento website for the Railyard project:
http://www.cityofsacramento.org/dsd/current-projects/railyards/

County of Sacramento documents on the Quality of Life Measure:
http://www.ceo.saccounty.net/pio/information/Quality-of-Life-Measure.html

I'm sure there are others, but these are the ones I refer to most.

Which reminds me, I was listening to Koz last night and he had somebody on from the Sacramento Convention and Vistors Bureau. Even he wasn't aware that there was concept art and plans availble for viewing on the Thomas Ent website.

I'm trying to weed through all the past discussions and bring forward those that are still germane to the quality-of-life measure, and not about getting this to the ballot in the first place...I'm marking them for future reference with the arrow in a green circle.

I need someone to point me in the right direction for the actual term sheet signed by the Maloofs and the JAC. I know it was posted here but I cannot find it.

Thanks...

It's on the county web page with all the other documents.
