The Bulls were very, very impressive last night. Their performance last night was all about system, philosophy and coaching. It's amazing what those things can do for you. Thib was probably their MVP for Game 2.

For all the concerns about Derrick Rose, the Bulls have continued to roll along without him. One key has been the play of Joakim Noah, who has shown heart as he's played through obvious pain to get the job done. Game 4 is underway as I write this, with the Bulls in the lead and the body language of the Brooklyn bench pretty much showing a defeatist attitude. Series currently 2-1 but looking like 3-1 unless the Nets can pull a rabbit out of their hat.

Although the Bulls did manage to pull out the win, it took triple-overtime for them to do it. This game was what playoff basketball is all about. I find myself in agreement with Grant Napear (I know!), who tweeted that players should be allowed one additional foul for overtime. I want to see the game decided by the players, and not by the officials based on a call in the first quarter that came back and haunted a guy in overtime.

Series heads back to Brooklyn for game 5 on Monday.

Despite some ugly play at times, this has been, IMO, the most entertaining series of the first round. I find myself rooting for the Bulls more and more simply for the heart that they're showing without their star.

In the only game on the schedule today, the Bulls will face off against the Nets at 5 p.m. (PDT). To me, there's nothing quite so exciting as a game 7. All the marbles, everything, on the line for one game to see who goes on and who goes fishing. I'm rooting for the Bulls to pull this out because they have HEART. And, to be honest, the "Broooooook-lyyyn" chant got old after about 3 seconds.

GO BULLS!

Big road win fo the Bulls to close out the series. Much credit to Joakim Noah, who ran his mouth before Game 7, and then went out and backed it up. But, how about some love to my double main man, who played balls out in a losing effort!

It never crossed my mind that he could outplay Deng, and the Nets still lose the series.

Again, it's amazing what a great coach and a defensive system can do for a team.

This was my favorite series to watch from the 1st round and it's awesome to see the Bulls play inspired ball.
