Play-In Round 2022

Pop absolutely refuses to tank and I respect it. Sure, the dude's probably hamstrung his teams chance at long-term success in the coming decade thanks to these consecutive trips to the play-in but still that's some integrity.
I guess when you've got five chips, you don't have to give a **** what your team's fans think about being stuck on a treadmill.

CJ's play of late only makes the Blazers' return in the trade look all the worse. One pick that could potentially not convey if the Pels get into the playoffs and Josh Hart (sure, the dude had a two week stretch where he saved my fantasy team) and NAW (who they promptly traded to the Jazz for Joe Ingle's expiring contract) is not enough for a dude dropping 27 points in a single half of basketball if you're reportedly still trying to win with Dame.

Yesterday's games were really fun. Tonight's game are both pretty much turning out to be blowouts. Hopefully the games for the playoff spots deliver.

Let me put it like this, Karl-Anthony Towns : me :: De'Aaron Fox : @kb02. Which is to say, there's probably **** all he can do to ever get on my good side.

But, since this isn't a Timberwolves message board, at least you don't have to worry about me just randomly banging on him, out of nowhere. I pretty much only bring him up, when he comes up.

what has he done in the first place to get on your bad side?

I don't like the cut of his jib. Plus, dude is everything that people told me pre-injury Cousins was: mentally weak, not a winner, not a leader, empty stats, doesn't make his teammates better, etc. And I don't like that he's gotten to skate on that, his whole career, just because he doesn't whine about calls, or fight with his coaches .**** that guy.

I don't see a scenario where Dame is still wearing a Blazers jersey come October

I can understand and respect your perspective. It's unfortunate you had to cuss his name like that though, he has done nothing to you on a personal level.

And then there's the "best shooting center" thing, as though being the most prolific three-point shooting big is something I want a center to be proud of.

would you blame him or more so the way his coaches and/or family/peers influenced his game? I remember in Kentucky he was strictly mid range and post player

I'd have to share these sentiments as well. While his value is still there based off of potential, they could get a haul I think for a team willing to swing for the heavens

I just can't see any team aside from the Knicks giving up anything of value for a 300+ lb undersized big man with a troubling history of leg issues and a game completely predicated on explosive athleticism who has been adamant in being THE GUY for his team and is eligible for a max extension this summer.

I can see a team like OKC giving it a go

His play with the Pels has been a revelation.

If Sixers had traded Simmons for CJ straight up I think they'd have conceivably won that trade both immediately and in the long term.
The disrespect for CJ is unreal. He always stepped up when Dame was out. I'm not surprised that CJ is balling well.
