Philly & Memphis

Whew!! Great big thanks to CWebb today for pushing the 76ers past the Grizzlies today, 94-91!! Webb came up huge with 31 points on 12/19 shooting. He also had 10 rebounds, 9 assists, 1 steal, and 2 blocks (1 turnover and 5 fouls) in 45 minutes of playing time.

Way to go Webb! Miss you!

okay so do we have anymore games against the grizz? more importantly do they have any games against the spurs and pistons?

oh, and way to go webber.....

I saw it happen and I saw him carried off the court. It didn't look good.

I just saw the highlights. I'm very happy with C-Webb's stats. And more importantly, they got the win!

Chris came up with big plays down the stretch! I love it!

Sixers are undefeated when Chris has 6+ assists. :D

Those numbers are crazy.

The question is: Any games left for Philly against NOK and LAL? ;)

Nope, we played 4 against the Grizz, went 2-2 with them, both teams won their home games. Grizzlies are done with Pistons, and they have one more vs. Spurs (I think).

when c-webb has the ball more the sixers are sucessful me thinks

I agree. If you put Webb in a position to get 7-10 assists a game, the game is going to flow better. I'd never say Webb should take more shots than AI, because that is flat out not gonna happen, but if he could run the offense a little more the Sixers would be a better team....

Sorry to hear about AI, and, for Webb's sake, I hope he has a quick recovery so the Sixers will do well. (Not to sound mean, just not a big AI fan)

Boy,do I love to see CWebb play the way we know he can, and tonight was a great example.

I wanted to see this game for a number of reasons, but it wasn't available on League Pass for some reason, and had it at a 6pm start instead of 4pm.

Looked fun

Great game from Chris, I love to see that.:D
the latest on AI's ankle is that xray's are negative but he's having an MRI this morning. They say it's a bad sprain but waiting on MRI results to confirm it. It looked painful!:(

What did we trade Webb for again? Oh yeah KT, Corliss & Skinner.

But don't forget, we already utilized our "flexible trading pieces" by trading Skinner for... who again?:p

Webb is still my favorite player but his knee in the playoffs would kill us. Offensively he can still be a monster, defensively he is still a joke. It's pretty sad. GO WEBB THOUGH!!!!

who knows?what would have happened? I don't think he killed us in the playoffs in 2004, and he is a lot healthier now. I would have liked to see Webb & Artest play together, talk about a warrior team....

Regardless, we have a good team & things are looking up!

Your right, but the problem is Webber + Miller make probally the worst defensive front court in the league. No one will do the dirty work.

With Thomas we have a guy who will do the dirty work and get the boards. With SAR we have a solid post player who defends pretty well (according to 82 games.com). With Webber you get a guy who doesn't defend very well, although rebounds pretty damn well. I know Webber can step it up when he needs to defensively, I've seen it. And I don't know how well SAR/Kenny will do in the playoffs but we will have to see.

Got under the cap, no more luxury tax, and got a nice versatile prospect in Sergei Monia. A good post-defender/rebounder in Potapenko.
