My dear friend Jim is the one who put those peach baskets up on the wall inside and, much like the Mayans centuries earlier, made it about putting a round orb through the circular target.
Of course, James did away with one Mayan tradition - the winning team usually sacrified a member of the losing team to the god of the game.
