Petition to bering back all black jerseys?

somebody should make a petition to bring back the all black jerseys. name the new arena arco arena, and have all black home jerseys. that would be awesome.
anybody want to try to make up an online petition?

we need the all black jerseys back! not the ones we have now!!

The only reason we dont have the black jerseys anymore is because when the magoofs decided to change the uniforms in the 2002-2003 season they failed to include an all black alternate jersey. The league has a set number of teams that it allows to wear black jerseys and when the Kings gave theirs up some other team swooped in on the open spot that the Kings left and adopted a black alternate jersey. This being said, I dont think a petition would have any effect.

As kingsnation pointed out, we HAVE the alternate black jerseys back. We are limited in the number of times they can be worn during the year, but they are definitely in the rotation. They cannot be the home jerseys, as home jerseys for each team are white.

As far as naming the new arena Arco Arena, that's up to whatever company bids the highest for the naming rights.

I'm honestly not sure what you're talking about. You were talking about us getting our black jerseys back but we have them back as alternates. The checkerboard jerseys this year have replaced the throwback jerseys in the rotation.

I don't know enough about the Nets to answer your question. You were originally asking about us getting our black jerseys back. As I replied above, we have them back. They are our primary alternate after our purple road and white home jerseys. We also have our checkerboard jerseys as our hardwood classics.

If you're suggesting that our team colors be changed so that black is the primary, I think you're out of luck. Our team colors are purple, black and silver.

I think the current alternate that blends the early 90s script logo with the black and purple colorway of the Webber era jerseys is the best we've ever had. A perfect compromise, as the Webber era logo is a little too garish for modern tastes.

Would not mind us going with these threads full time at all.

My two cents. Who cares? Why do we need to wear more black? It won't make us win more. Lets make a new color popular.

And, they can call the arena Arco when Arco wants to pay for the right.

The Nets got special approval for their black color scheme when they moved to Brooklyn. Other teams still can't switch to black as their regular jerseys.
