pete carril in the house

He didn't/doesn't want the job.

Were my last name Maloof, I think I'd be asking him to please consult a little with the coaching staff and the team, at his convenience, for $1,000 an hour, plus expenses. It'd be money well spent.

That needs to change.

We had this exact same discussion last season about Coachie. At that time he made it clear he was retired from NBA coaching and happy to be back on the East Coast. I think Coachie is now 77-78 with his age stressed in that now seemingly ancient threat.

I’m so happy that he was at the arena. I really want to see him on the coaching list and hoping that we would bring him back. I think Kevin could convince him to come back. Anyway, it was great seeing him.

Anyone else think Coachie was secretly coaching the team from the stands? :p

That's what I was thinking. I thought I saw a little antenna sticking out of Theus' head tonight. Kings win - Coachie in stands. Coincidence? Hmmm...

I think Coachie gave advice to Theus, and he listened.

I think he was diappopinted that Adelman was fired. However, his roots, home and family are back east. I know he wanted to spend more time at home and be around his grandkids. Can't say I blame him.

He actually looks healthier with the weight loss they reported evident. I hope he's enjoying every minute of retirement. He's very close to Geoff Petrie and I imagine he was here largely to visit with him.
