Personal draft board

Alright with the Kings looking like secure another lottery pick, and the 2010 draft class taking shape, i would like to here your personal 7-player draft board(meaning a list of the 7 players in order that you would draft for Kings if available)

espns mock for reference: http://espn.go.com/nba/lottery2010/mockdraft

my draft board:

1. Evan Turner
2. Ed Davis
3. John Wall (not sold on this guy, but it would be hard to pass on him if 1 and 2 arent there)
4. DeMarcus Cousins
5. Derrick Favors (not sold on him either, but the pontential is hard to pass on)
6. Donatas Motiejunas
7. Cole Aldrich

1. Evan Turner
2. John Wall
3. DeMarcus Cousins
4. Derrick Favors
5. Cole Aldrich
6. Donatas Montiejunas
7. Ed Davis

1. John Wall (by default)
2a. Cole Aldrich
2b. DeMarcus Cousins
2c. Derrick Favors (these three in alphabetical order because I can't decide yet)
5. Evan Turner (again by default)
6. Greg Monroe (shocking!)
7. Ed Davis

(Hassan Whiteside is a guy that would probably jump to at least #6 if he were to declare. Sorry, Ed.)

Anyone who doesn't take John Wall with the first pick is crazy!

1. John Wall
2. Derrick Favors
3. Evan Turner
4. Cole Aldrich
5. Demarcus Cousins

I agree with this order except I would put Davis in 6th and move Udoh to 7a with Monroe 7b.

1. John Wall (I'd actually prefer him as a franchise player to Evans, but I know that's blasphemy around here)

2. Evan Turner (I want to put him no.1 but Wall simply has too much potential and hype not to take him first)

3. Derrick Favors (I think Favors has the best defensive potential of the top bigs and even though he's raw offensively, he's got decent skills and he's not underdeveloped considering what stage he's at)

4. DeMarcus Cousins (I'm not convinced he's capable of playing above the rim, but he's the only center that has the potential to be a 17-20 ppg low post scorer, grab 10+ rebounds, and provide a big body shot blocker down low. Although that could change come combine time)

5. Wesley Johnson (I feel bad having him at 5, I just really like this kid. He's the kind of player that the NBA just doesn't have enough of.)

6. Ed Davis (Not a big fan, but does have good two way potential and if the prospects above were all taken I'd have to cross my fingers and take Davis just because we need a big with all-star potential)

7. Cole Aldrich (Still haven't really watched enough of Kansas, he could easily flip flop with Davis)

8. Donatas Motiejunas (Not really ready for the NBA, but has got great talent and is worth taking a shot on if a lot of the top bigs are off the board)

9. Hassan Whiteside (He'd be a project, but his physical tools are as good as anyone's in the draft, if not the best. Marcus Camby potential)

10.Xavier Henry (I'm not convinced he has great upside, but could be a good replacement for Martin if he's traded. He kind of reminds me of Allan Houston)

1. John Wall
2. Cole Aldrich
3. Derrick Favors
4. Solomon Alabi

I think that if we won't get Jhon Wall , we should focus landing big man we all wishing for...

in this case my starting 5 will be :

PG Jhon Wall
G Reke
SF Omri Casspi
F Jason Thompson
C Jon Brockman / Spencer Hawes

If We won't get John Wall:

PG Tyreke
G Beno Udrih
SF Omri Casspi
F Jason Thompson
C Cole Aldrich

We must trade Kevin Martin. M-U-S-T !!

1. John Wall
2. Derrick Favors
3. Demarcus Cousins
4. Ed Davis
5. Cole Aldrich

Wall is a no-brainer if the Kings land him. He has the most potential out of anyone in the last decade.

Derrick is a former McDonald's All American and he won the MVP in that game. So far our current McDonald's MVP is pretty solid so you can trust the talent level. My pick if Wall is not available.

Demarcus has got real pro potential and I'm surprised Ed Davis is not being more hyped. Cole is a big body with the skillset this team desperately needs.

Are you related to Ed Davis?:D

These are my personal favorites and have nothing to do with how the real draft will turn out. Thats why I don't have Donatas Motiejunas in my top ten. He may well be a great player, but without being able to see him play there's no way I can offer an opinion on him.

1. John Wall
2. Evan Turner
3. Derrick Favors (purely on potential and press clippings)
4. DeMarcus Cousins
5. Cole Aldrich
6. Wesley Johnson
7. Ed Davis
8. Ekpe Udoh
9. Greg Monroe (Has improved his inside game, thus he's in my top ten)
10. Al-Farouq Aminu (has improved his outside shot. Super athlete)

Honorable mention go to. Hasson Whiteside, Art Parakhouski, Jarvis Varnado, Soloman Alabi and Xavior Henry.

My all around hustle, do everything, keep your team in the game award goes to Damion James. Honorable mention in that catagory goes to Sherron Collins, Gordon Haywood, Matt Bouldin, Patrick Christopher, and reluctantly, Lance Stevenson.

Wow, you even have an honorable mention list. I haven't heard of half those guys.

1. John Wall - Concensus #1.

2. Evan Turner

3. DeMarcus Cousins - Beast on the boards.

4. Wes Johnson - Could be better than Turner but only plays zone D.

5. Cole Aldrich - Better than he looks.

6. Derrick Favors - I know he's ranked higher, but I just have a bad feeling about him.

7. Greg Monroe - Improved inside game may get him this high.

8. Ed Davis - Should go this high. ( I think he will be a bust).

9. Al-Forouq Aminu - Great athlete. Built for the NBA game.

10. Larry Sanders - My sleeper pick. Another Antonio McDyess?
