Rick Barry on KNBR about 1:15p thought Odom was someone very special on the Lakers and an exception player. Pedja is the pure shooter and scorer but Odom more talented. His view from Kings side is take it as Odom has more to offer (but would lakers require BJax for the salaries to better match? Others brought that up)

My understanding is it would take BJax to even up salaries (correct me if I'm wrong). I just can't see why we'd give a struggling Lakers team B Jax and Peja. This trade doesn't make sense to me, not because I don't recognize that Odom has value, but because I think the Lakers would be very dangerous if they had BJax to bring the ball down the court & Peja and Kobe to shoot.
