Out of all our young guys...

Which kid are you expecting the most out of next season?..

I hope and expect Justin Williams and Spencer Hawes to get some decent minutes and bolster the frontcourt with youth and athleticism. I see Williams having a breakout season as well as Hawes showing some of his abundant post moves. :)

Kind of a loaded question. Expecting what? I voted Kevin Martin just because he's a starter and I think expectations for him are to repeat the good year he had last year and generally improve which would mean by far outperforming what I'd expect from the rest of the group you have up there. Hope thats answering the question.

But, we already know what Martin is capable of and has already showed us all what he can do if given the minutes.

Justin Williams on the other is another story. I would love to see him get 20 minutes and with those minutes put up Rodman like rebound numbers. If Theus sticks to his "you work, you play" attitude, then Justin can actually get some respectable minutes in our thick frontcourt.

If anybody else on that list outperforms Kev, I would be utterly shocked and the first in line to buy their jersey.

If you mean who will have the biggest improvement over last year, I pick Williams, but that would not make sense considering that you included rookies. Seems like a no brainer to me.

I thought it was obvious, Kevin Martin. It wasn't a tough choice at all. But if you take him off of that poll then it becomes difficult.

Good point. I put Kevin Martin because I have the most expectations for him based on previous performance. I HOPE Justin Williams will turn out to be a solid player, I don't expect it. But again, the poll wasn't clear so I can totally understand why some would vote for Spencer or Justin or even Cisco on this poll.

It's simple. Martin has shown the most, and is the only sure starter out of the bunch, so expect the most from him.

I do think it's time we see a consistent good year from Garcia, as he's actually not all that young anymore. I hope we see a lot of Williams and Hawes (both should be splitting minutes with Moore and Miller, IMO) and would like to see some progress from Douby. Shakur even making the team would be more than I expect.

When do we get to stop considering Kevin one of or "young guys?"

By the way, I am expecting the most out of him.

I think this poll would have some merit if Martin wasn't included in it. For this reason I voted for Hawes. Williams would have been my second choice. I no longer consider Martin one of the young inexperienced guys.

He just had that look at the end of last season and going into summer league this year, like he owned the court. That's the same look Kevin had last summer. Hopefully the opportunity is there for him.

Too easy.

K-Mart, hands down, since the question was who do you expect the most out of. We, as fans, HAVE to be expecting Kevin to carry a similar load as he did last year, bare minimum, and maybe a bit more. If he doesn't, the coming season will be even worse than most expect.

I expect him to be re-signed shortly to a longer term deal, so the team is going to be committing some hefty bucks to his continuing what he started mid-season 2 years ago and extended last season.

If Theus lets the team run, though, it will play into Kevin's strengths, and in such a scenario, I can see him averaging 5-10 points more per game for us than he did last year. And given that we are in rebuilding mode (or perhaps about to enter rebuilding mode, since Geoff hasn't made any true rebuilding moves yet), I would much rather lose 115-110 with an exciting up tempo game than lose 90-75 with the same miserable view as last season.

Thats exactly how I feel... I was torn between Garcia and Hawes... I had to go with Hawes, being that hes our lottery pick.

My expectation for our starting #2 is quite high. I know he was already very good last season (and probably exceded a lot of people's expectation) but hasn't quite "proven" in the league. I can see him become one of the elite skinny scorers in the league. (ala rip hamilton)

I just want to see him be more aggressive and get more minutes, he sure has the ability to crack into top 10 ppg this year.

Martin will score the most.

Cisco will have the biggest jump in performance. He should get a lot of pt next year, if only because Theus knows him.

Until Williams shows he can make 60% from free throw line, I'm not sold.

Douby should be better; I want to see that running floater of a shot that he could do in college.

Hawes will have some good moments, but I'm not a believer that Theus will find him minutes on the floor until I see it.
