Eric Moreland Suffers Broken Foot

SACRAMENTO, CA - X-rays performed this afternoon at Kaiser Permanente in Sacramento revealed that Kings forward Eric Moreland will require surgery after sustaining a fracture of the fifth metatarsal in his left foot during practice today. He is out of action indefinitely.

A timetable for his procedure and recovery will be provided as updates become available.

Well, he doesn't get play anyway, but that's half our defensive length out of commission, and both are designated shotblockers.

His importance to the team and how he will be missed is in practices, not the games, since he's not playing in games. He does give a big body for the others to go against in practices.

Since I'm pretty sure that he spends most of his time guarding Cousins in practice, it's not a shock that he broke his foot.

Damn. Not looking good for him to catch on an NBA roster somewhere. Teams aren't going to like seeing 2 surgeries on a guy who's played like 15 NBA minutes

I totally and completely agree. The arrogance of a few Kings fans reminds me a lot of fans of a certain team in Southern California.
