One word about the NFL

Well, that's if one really gives a rat's patoot. Where are those Raiders fans now?

;)

I have to say I was pulling for your team today VF...for once.

Did you just see the end of the Philly/Dallas game??

No, but I saw the recap. I'm watching TO's press comments right now. I have to agree with what he said. But then, I've never had the problems with TO that some people seem to have. He's mercurial, he's liable to say or do anything, but he sure tries his hardest on the field.

:p

One thing I miss about the west coast...no Niners. :(
Ha ha, Raiders! Time to think about Brady Quinn or Adrian Peterson.

They shoulda brought Tuiasosopo in earlier! There is a positive correllation between football playing ability and the number of syllables in your name.

Look at that ARM!

Dang...I wish I could manage to look like that...Wow.

Anyways, the 49ers win...Great.

But the best part of the night was seeing that the Raiders could have a shot at going 0-16...Wow, my hatred for that team and everything about them is deep.

Big production from Gore, although no TD's but 130+ rushing yards and 40 or so receiving yards. Ahhhh but it's against the Raiders. :D

NO!

I will not allow Brady Quinn to go to the Raiders. I simply won't allow it.

Period. End of sentence. Discussion over.

;)

It's pretty much cemeted now. Tennessee has their stud young QB and Houston loves Carr. You guys have Smith and take Detroit and Oakland there you have the project top five teams drafting.

San Fran might drop a few spots but I still see Quinn in the Black Hole unless Detroit has a ****tier year and they take him....not before seeing what top wide outs are on the board of course.

Sorry VF, I have to agree with Adam on this one. I don't see Quinn going anywhere else. I think Detroit will win more than Oakland.
I haven't really watched the Raiders this year (or any west coast team, sadly.) Why are they so crappy? Is it because they are all old and overpaid? Is it coaching/management? Is it all of the above? Maybe they need to move Moss for some decent players.

If Gore can continue to hold on to the ball, there won't be a need to draft Peterson. They'd do fine to shore up both the OL and DL. There will also be some great WR in this year's draft.

I would enjoy nothing more than watching Mr. Quinn's career end before it began in an Oakland Raider uniform...

I'm going to do my famous Tim Duncan impersonation (with my hands over my ears): La la la la la la! I can't hear you!!!

It's all of the above. Plus Moss (as team captain) recently announced if the rest of the team wasn't going to put forth effort, he wasn't going to try, either. That sure helps motivate the troops. They have become a parody of themselves and I, as a steadfast Niners fan, find it incredibly entertaining.

True.

Whoa. That's pretty harsh. I guess some of us just appreciate true ability more than others. I, for example, wished Leinart and Young well even though I would never root for their college teams.

Oh well...

Ahh, the hate. Even on an NFL post. I appreciate the talent, and I'm glad they're out of college.

I too, am enjoying the Oakland Implosion. At some point though, it does become kinda sad. :( Kind of, but not really. :D
