Omri Casspi in Nike commercial!

Did it actually run cuz it looks like someone just made a clip and threw the just do it logo in the middle of it...
It looks legit to me...plus its exactly :30 which makes sense for national network purposes. :)
edit: Yup, it's legit...Amick tweeted about it a few hours back. Love it!! I know we all have our opinions on Geoff Petrie, but at time like these I cant do anything but THANK him for being a great GM! This commercial gave me chills the first time I watched it...and the second...and third...:D

Why didn't they wait a week to release it so they could have edited in him lighting it up in the first half last at MSG with his parents watching for real?

simply amazing
dream and work for your dreams, because you may actually get it
it made me shiver, damn

These kinds of things were the writing on the wall when the Kings drafted Omri. It was just a matter of him showing he could play (and my oh my he has shown that) and these kinds of stories, commercials, and publicity were waiting in the wings. It was a hugely shrewd business move by the Maloofs to somehow manage to get Casspi at #23. And not only because he is the first player from a certain country, but it's Israel... you have to understand how many Jewish people hold positions of power in the media and entertainment world. Casspi has earned everything he has achieved, but he, and the Kings, will be richly rewarded as his success continues. What a story. And... and this is where it gets very cool, Omri could be part of the larger mission of the NBA and professional sports in general to help heal some of the political woulds around the world (the Haddadi photo just being the first small example). As his career develops, as he attains more notoriety all of that has the potential to translate to such a positive social impact. This is a wonderful thing. And something tells me Omri is highly aware of all of this, and that is one of the things that lights his fire. We love you Omri.

After a 2nd look it seems legit, I was watching it on my blackberry initially. With exposure like this, the nba is a business. Omri needs to start the rest of this season.

The exposure Tyreke and Omri are giving to the Kings nationally and internationally is something the organization has needed. If Tyreke wins the ROY this will further push the exposure and of course jersey $ales. Good times may just be coming back to Sac-town. BTW, the Omri video is sweeeet.

did you notice, he has the same number 18 on his shirt when he's a kid... (0:11-0:19)
we're very proud of this boy, here in israel.. go kings! :)

I LOVED the commercial BUT what would have put it over the top is if Omri dunked the ball and then pointed to his parents in the stands, Then the camera pans to the parents then back to Omri pounding his chest! THAT would have made for a SWEET commercial! But the commercial still gives me the chills! From young Kid from a country that never had a professional NBA player to a young rookie that could end up taking the NBA by storm! A Rookie that hasn't had the luxury of playing like a rookie, but more like a veteran player because he was a pro for 3 years in Israel. Casspi is taking the NBA by storm and with skills, with his heart and his determination. He has proved to everyone watching here and in Israel that he has what it takes to be a force in the NBA! A Force from Israel! Gotta love that OMRI!! You have to root for the KID!
