Ok, so this coming season...

With our two best players out for the first 7 games and one of them out for up to 10 weeks, what has this season become for you? I mean I dont want to say theres NO chance that we could do a little good but it is unlikely, if anything I think its a good chance for our young guys to tighten up their games. Thats about all the positive ive got in me, haha.

Yup, that's what it is. A time for the young guys to get some burn, and try and get a good draft pick for next year so we can get our PG of the future.

And honestly, I'm fine with that. I'd rather watch young guys who hustle and lose every game than old farts who don't bother to play defense and miss layups but manage to squeak out painful wins.

I tend to agree with Tarindel. Watching the progress of Douby and Greene and their hustle makes up for a lot of what we didn't have last year. Plus Mikki is a presence around the basket we haven't had for a LONG time. And even Watkins is looking better each game and is a monster down low. Plus Salmons has elevated his game way above what he did at any time last year.

Brad is slim and trim and is actually jumping and blocking shots. Now if only he can get 6-8 rebs a game consistently I'll be happier camper.

The first 10 games will be DIFFERENT than the last 2 years and should have a 10 man rotation:

Douby
Martin
Salmons
Miller
Thomas
SAR
Mikki
Cisco
Greene
Watkins

Artest (after 7 games)
Hawes (probably after about 10-15 games or end of November)
Bibbs (after about 30 games or early Jan 08)

Shakur may be an odd man out.
Williams is question mark but could be back in next week or so.... or not or to NBDL.

SAR, Mikki AND Watkins all getting rotation minutes coming off the bench? Barring foul trouble, I think this is highly unlikely.
