Nocioni to the celtics rumor

I personally guarantee that Nocioni outplays our expectations just like Salmons did. First of all, he'll be given Salmons' minutes. If you like at their per minute stats they are very similar with John having more points and assists and Nocioni having more rebounds. So he should naturally see a boost all around with more minutes. Secondly, he'll get the same stat inflation that Salmons has gotten for playing on a crappy team. Salmons won't play nearly as well for Chicago as he did here because overall they are a better team with a few better scoring and playmaking options.

I agree 100%. He should have a career year in Sacramento.

After reading an Argentine popular sport newspaper www.ole.com.ar they state that Nocioni was not happy in Chicago anymore and wanted to change venues for a while. They blamed the chemistry in Chicago for their woes. This may have caused his production to slip from last year. This might be good for us:

Meh, I followed this at work and was semi-happy when I thought we had a chance to actually trade noci outa here, but alas here I am.... Sad as can be he's still a King. I wouldn't be sad if we were an actual playoff contending team, but he has no business being here oh well!

I like Nocioni, always have. I've always thought he's got more than he offered, and was the kind of player that out of nowhere could turn it on, in a flash, leaving everyone stunned in a "Where the *&^ did that come from?" trance. Webber and Peja, in my opinion, and Wallace to a lesser degree, were the best at that, but he's got a little of that.

I am more of a EuroBasket guy anyways, but I do like this move, and think he could be an important part for this team going forward. There's some X-factor there we were definitely lacking. I'll consider myself (firmly) in the minority.

This Kings core is very young, and has had some serious problems with their tenacity this year. Bobby Jackson has been beside himself most of the season at the lack of effort demonstrated by his teammates. Nocioni is a move to reverse that trend, and instill some pride and work ethic into the young core. He (strangely like Artest) brings it every night, and that alone should be an improvement going forward.
