kevin garnett is by far the dirtiest player in the league at this time. bruce bowen would definitely be on top of the list if he was still playing

Kobe is by far dirtier than Noc. But whatever. It was voted on by the players and a lot respect Kobe enough to where they won't say anything. But Noc probably gets ZERO respect throughout the league. One of those guys where you hate him when he is on the other team but can stomach him when he is on yours. Funny how the Lakers have 2 players on this list......

why garnett? can you show me one video he made a dirty play? the elbow to aldridge? that's not dirty.

Kobe and Artest are maybe the dirtiest.

The funny thing to me is 90% of these lists are the best defenders in the league. Particularly wing defenders who play aggressive, physical defense. There are some players who are truly dirty like Reggie Evans, but a lot of these guys just play hard and muscle you up on every play and annoy the heck out of the opposition with their relentlessness.

Relentless + scrappy does not equal dirty.

People, this was voted on BY THE PLAYERS. Hence our speculation or observances about who is dirtiest in this case don't amount really equate. If this was one media guy's list, or even polling media members or whatnot, you could easily say well I watch the games too, and the bozos got it wrong. But since this was a poll of the players themselves, they are kind of in a position to know who's throwing little elbows in a way we aren't.

KG is the man...tough rough and play hard. I wish our bigs play like he does.

If you can't handle that you can't handle the NBA.

Did you guys not see this or you just decided to argue anyway? :p:D

This is like the co-workers who sat around you for years telling your boss that you're lazy on the job.

Well those players might be considered dirty, but all are effective. Whoever said basketball isn't a contact sport probably never played a competitive game of hoops. There is always that one guy on the floor who's job is to go around and hack everyone because he has no other skills other than hacking. It can become an art form if you can get away with it and the refs don't catch you every time. You have 6 fouls to use, and they don't give you a prize if you finish the game with fouls left...

I got this mag as well...

couldn't believe Noc was on the list... but players probably haven't forgotten how he used to play... you know he played pretty tough last year... he just had a big drop off defensively this year
