Nocioni + Bad Judgement = trade possibility?

I can see the Kings being eager to move Nocioni out of town after his DUI or, at least, by the deadline. From my perspective, best case, they can get an ender for him, but who?

Here are some guys that would work out salary wise who are enders:

Boston: Scalabrine + House + a small contract
Charlotte: Raymond Felton or Raja Bell + Flip Murray
Chicago: Jerome James + Lindsay Hunter
Dallas: Drew Gooden + Shawne Williams
Golden State: Speedy Claxton + Acie Law
Houston: Brian Cook + Luis Scola
Clippers: Rasual Butler + Ricky Davis
Lakers: Adam Morrison + Farmar or Mbengba and Powell
Memphis: Stephen Hunter + AI
Miami: Udonis Haslem
Milwaukee: Ridnour + small contract
Minnesota: Brian Cardinal or Mark Blount
New Jersey: Tony Battie (there are a ton of enders here)
New York: Darko Milicic (again, tons of enders here)
Oklahoma City: Etan Thomas
Portland: Steve Blake + Travis Outlaw
San Antonio: Roger Mason + Matt Bonner
Utah: Matt Harpring + Fesesko or other small contract
Washington: Lots of options that would include either Mike James or Brendan Haywood or Mike Miller

We could always throw in a case of bud to sweeten the deal.:D

Getting a DUI is just plain stupid. But if they move Nocioni this year, I think it will be for reasons other than that. I don't thinik it will be a prime motivator to trade him.

I do not think that the DUI is a prime motivator to move him either, but when Cisco returns and if Casspi continues improving, he becomes more expendible. Especially if they are looking for a big free agent signing in the offseason (which they are).

Could happen and for an ender... that's all I'm saying. Plus, he could be that final piece a contender might be looking to push them over the edge...

Logically we would have been keen to move him regardless of his latest indisgression. He is a longish contract and probably the most movable of the longish contracts (that we want to move). IMHO, he was always going to be shopped. If anything this might hurt his trade value a little bit.

I am more worried about moving Beno. He will soon become Kenny Thomas reloaded.

I agree they may very well want to move him this year at some point for the right offer. He is a little more tradeable, becasue his contract actually decreases every year.

I was going to post this in another thread but since you posted a bunch of teams I'll add mine (hopefully you don't mind).

I was just reading an article how the Lakers lack bench depth and I thought this could work out since people (including myself) want to trade Noc.

This could work in 2 different trades. The first trade is probably the most realistic but I love the 2nd one too much to not add it :D

Los Angeles Lakers and Sacramento Trade:

Lakers Outgoing:
A. Morrison [1 yr. $5.2]
J. Farmar [1 yr. $1.9]

Kings Outgoing:
A. Nocioni [3 yrs. $7.5]

Kings get ending contracts unless we want to keep Jordan Farmar after this season. And Lakers can get a good bench guy.

2nd Trade Idea.

Lakers Receive: Andres Nocioni
Kings Receive: Adam Morrison & Jerryd Bayless
Portland Receives: Jordan Farmar

Even though I doubt the Blazers are willing to trade Jerryd for Jordan, Jordan has been on the Lakers team and could be a nice vet along with the other young Blazers. Also the Blazers did sign Andre Miller.

I don't see the Kings overeaching this. To trade him because of a DUI? It's becoming about as common as a speeding ticket. Noc will be traded eventually, but certainly not in a fire sale because of a DUI.

If we trade him, I would rather it not be the Lakers out of all the teams.
